At 23ºC, touch dry in 1 hour, hard dry in 8 hours, full cure in 7 days and recoating after 1 hours. It can be applied at a dry film thickness up to 100 microns in a single coat without affecting gloss properties.

Good adhesion to St3 prepared steel substrates and compatible with most aged coatings. The coating can be left uncoated or may be recoated with Transpoxy, Transurethane, Transuniprene or Transunilac Finishes. <br /><br />Approved for carriage of Jet Fuels as specified in MIL-PRF-4556F. Qualified by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and ranked as a ‘Heavy Duty coating offering excellent corrosion protection”.

Transozinc Epoxy Primer 91.55

2-pack polyamide cured epoxy primer pigmented with a high zinc content for the protection of steel structures against corrosion in industrial and marine environments. The primer is quick drying and can be used as a holding primer. Comes in matt grey colour. At 23ºC, touch dry in 20 minutes, dry to handle in 4 hours, full cure in 5 days and recoating after 6 hours. Suitable Transocean anti-corrosive topcoats include Transpoxy, Transvinyl and Transoprene products.
